Yogi Adityanath met Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai

Yogi Adityanath attended an event that included Boney Kapoor, Sonu Nigam,
Kailash Kher, Suniel Shetty, and Madhur Bhandarkar, among others.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath invited prominent members of the entertainment
industry to explore Uttar Pradesh as a film-making destination on Thursday,
presenting it as a film-friendly state.

“We have made two of your film fraternity members MPs, and we know the
issues you face and what needs to be done,” the Chief Minister said during a
meeting with members of Bollywood in Mumbai. Cinema plays an important role
in uniting society and preserving the country’s unity and sovereignty.”

Mr. Adityanath, who is in Mumbai to promote an investor summit in Lucknow next
month, stated that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a film-friendly state, as
recognized by the National Film Awards and the International Film Festival of
India (IFFI).

Aside from a safe environment, the northern state has good connectivity,
according to him.

According to the Chief Minister’s film policy, a web series shot in Uttar Pradesh
will receive a 50% subsidy. Similarly, a 25% subsidy is provided for the
establishment of studios and film labs.

Among those in attendance were producer Boney Kapoor, Gorakhpur Lok Sabha
MP and actor Ravi Kishen, Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Nirhua, playback singer Sonu
Nigam and Kailash Kher, actor Suniel Shetty, and filmmakers Chandraprakash
Dwivedi, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Rajkumar Santoshi
