Foreign Exchange Program at St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar

JAIPUR / Visits of Delegation are a regular process at St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur. Following this practice this year also the school was visited by delegations from Wellington School, Scotland. They were given a warm welcome at school by the teachers and students. The purpose of their visit was to explore Indian Education System and to adopt the best practices beneficial for the teaching process. During their stay they visited various classes to observe the working of the school.

.While they were here they visited the textile industries to view and understand the process of making different articles. They enjoyed their visit and were quite fascinated the beautiful varieties of products. Besides that a fancy dress competition with the theme‘Indian States’ was held where the little angels of pre-primary worn different costumes which reflected that how each state in India stands uniquely with different culture, language and dressing, though different we unite together to form one nation. It added the elements of excitement and enthusiasm that made the show enjoyable. Along with it a trade fair was also organized by secondary section where the diverse variety of cuisines, dresses and handicrafts were showcased. The delegation tasted the various flavours of different parts of India and purchased the handicraft items.

‘Fitness is the key to a dynamic personality’. Keeping this in mind a special Yoga session was held where many students along with the staff members also vivaciously performed seven yogic postures.

Dr. Pooja Singh (Principal) said that the cultural qualities and understanding that exists between our schools is an important part of our philosophies and appreciated the efforts put in by the students and staff members and congratulated them.
