Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), cautioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday not to disparage Vinayak Savarkar, saying that doing so would cause “cracks” in the opposition coalition.
Further stating that he views Hindutva ideologue V D Savarkar as his hero, Uddhav Thackeray pleaded with the Congress leader to stop from disparaging him.
