Jaipur/ Trees have been serving humanity since times immemorial. The very existence of man would not have been possible without trees and other green plants. To mark the significance of trees, SRN International School celebrated Van Mahotsava on July 28, 2015 and created awareness among students that Nature has endowed us with great gifts and it is our utmost duty to conserve it.

Tree plantation ceremony took place in the school premises with great aplomb and enthusiasm in which students participated in large number. Meaningful messages were put up all around on the importance of trees and how they are the ‘Lifelines’. For this, students displayed charts & banners depicting clean & green environment.

On this occasion, the chairman Mr. Ravi Sharma emphasized on conserving and protecting the forest wealth, urging others to do their bit and save the environment by each one planting one sapling to prevent further desertification of the earth. He commented, he is doing the bit of it & expecting that we all must take vow to show our responsibility towards the nature and do our bit. Green surrounding is not our desire but our duty too.

Principal Ms. Usha Sharma elaborated that these celebrations bring awareness for duties and responsibility towards nature, among the students. It is a good step towards better tomorrow.
