Waste to Wealth – An initiative by Edmund’s budding entrepreneurs

Reduce, reuse, recycle can be explained to the students by explaining them how to create new ideas from the products which we think are waste. Keeping this in mind St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur participated in school enterprise Challenge Competition where an initiative was taken by edmundites in the form project name, “Waste to Wealth”to conceive and test new ideas for business and social enterprise with zero investment. Students took initiatives by collecting old newspapers, copies and created beautiful and creative products such as paperbags, envelopes, copies etc. which was exhibited where parents, students and staff members not only appreciated the work but also purchased it and demanded for more. This helped students to develop Enterpreneurial skills, sense of social responsibility as well as economic gain in the form of profits. They have good future prespective for their sustainable enterprise.
