Police dragged Delhi University students who were marching in support of wrestlers; wrestlers also returned security

Police detained students from Delhi University who were participating in a march in support of the wrestlers. The students have also accused the police of assault and decency. wrestlers Bajrang Punia asked the students for assistance on Sunday.
The wrestlers have denounced the Delhi Police’s improper behaviour towards the students. At the same time, the Delhi Police claimed that they had not received any information about the demonstration or any requests for permission.
Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President Brij Bhushan is the target of the wrestlers’ ongoing sit-in at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. The Delhi Police security has been restored by him.
On the Supreme Court’s direction, he was given security, with one constable being stationed with him for a 12-hour shift.
