Jaipur,Oct.08,2025:The Cleanliness Drive for Swachh Bharat at DAV Jaipur was conducted with great enthusiasm on 1 October 2025 at DAV Centenary Public School, Jaipur, under the banner of the Swachhta Pakhwada Campaign initiated by CBSE. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness, hygiene, and cleanliness among students — values that form the foundation of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi–

The school transformed into a hub of cleanliness-driven activities, where students learned the importance of responsibility toward their surroundings and pledged to contribute to a Clean India – Green India.

The Swachhta Pakhwada is a two-week cleanliness campaign launched by the Government of India as part of the nationwide Swachh Bharat Mission, encouraging citizens, institutions, and communities to actively participate in cleaning their surroundings.

• Classes XI & XII extended the mission beyond campus, cleaning Shraddhanand Park and adjacent community areas.

The students worked diligently with brooms, dustpans, and gloves, symbolizing dignity in labour and civic responsibility. Teachers supervised and guided them, ensuring both safety and meaningful participation.
