Panja Dangal Season 1: Lakshya Narwani Wins Jaipur Arm-Wrestling Championship

JAIPUR, July 27, 2026: Poddar College Auditorium in Mansarovar turned into a competitive arm-wrestling arena on Sunday as athletes gathered for Panja Dangal Season 1.

Organised under the aegis of Liger Martial Arts Academy sponsored by Taal Zone, an international music distribution and production house with the sanction of the People’s Arm wrestling Federation India, the event brought together players, referees, officials and sports enthusiasts for a full day of competitive arm wrestling.

The matches were conducted under the supervision of a technical team, with referees closely monitoring the grip, elbow position and movement of the competitors.

As each pair of players took their position at the arm-wrestling table, the focus remained on strength, control and technique. The referees ensured that the competitors began from a fair position and followed the prescribed rules during every bout.

The biggest moment of Panja Dangal Season 1 came when Rajasthan’s Lakshya Narwani secured the Champion of Champions title.

Narwani emerged as the leading performer of the competition and claimed the tournament’s highest honour. His victory became the highlight of the event and placed him at the centre of the closing ceremony.

The championship was conducted under the leadership of organising secretary Harsh Hadala, who coordinated the sporting and technical arrangements throughout the programme.

National PAFI referee Vikas Tyagi attended the event as the chief guest. His presence added significance to the competition and encouraged the participating athletes.

The technical operations were handled by Asian referee Lokesh Yadav, PAFI referee Vivek Runiwal and state referee Dev Kumar Sain.

Simran Hadala, Kunika Hadala, Khwahish Kumar, Arvind Jangir and Daksh Yadavanshi were also part of the technical team that managed the matches and assisted in the smooth conduct of the tournament.

Throughout the event, the referees remained positioned around the competition tables, guiding the players before each bout and ensuring that the matches were conducted within the rules.

Arm wrestling may appear to be a simple contest of physical power, but the competition at Panja Dangal Season 1 reflected the importance of hand control, wrist strength, speed and correct body positioning.

Several bouts tested not only the strength of the competitors but also their ability to maintain balance and respond quickly after the referee’s command.

Lakshya Narwani’s Champion of Champions title was the major sporting result of the day.

His performance drew attention to the level of arm-wrestling talent emerging from Rajasthan and demonstrated the competitive potential of athletes participating in the state’s growing strength-sports circuit.

Music also added energy to the atmosphere at Panja Dangal Season 1. The motivational track “Tu Zinda Hai To Zinda Dikh” was played repeatedly during the programme and received an enthusiastic response from the audience.

The song’s powerful message and energetic composition matched the spirit of the arm-wrestling championship, encouraging participants and keeping spectators engaged between bouts. Many in the auditorium were seen enjoying the track, which became one of the musical highlights of the event.

The song is presented by Sundeep Kumar, with vocals by Ravindra Upadhyay and Sunil SL Narnauliya. Its lyrics and music have been created by Sunil SL Narnauliya.

At the conclusion of the programme, organising secretary Harsh Hadala thanked all the players, guests, referees, officials, media representatives, volunteers and spectators who contributed to the successful conduct of the championship.

He said the cooperation of the athletes and officials played an important role in completing the event smoothly.

Hadala also announced that Panja Dangal Season 2 would be organised soon on a larger scale.

The announcement indicated that the organisers intend to continue the championship and provide athletes with another major competitive platform.

While the date and venue for the second season have not yet been announced, the organisers said the next edition would be more extensive than the inaugural event.

Panja Dangal Season 1 concluded with Lakshya Narwani holding the Champion of Champions title and the organisers looking ahead to the next edition.
