Prof. Y. S. Ramesh will receive the prestigious Sanskrit Sadhana Samman Award 2025 during the state-level Sanskrit Day celebration on August 7, 2025, at the Sukhadia Rangmanch Auditorium in Udaipur. The main guest will be Speaker Vasudev Devanani, and the ceremony will be presided over by Sanskrit Education Minister Madan Dilawar. The award includes ₹51,000 in cash, a ceremonial shawl, a banana leaf pot (Shreephal), and an official certificate.
Prof. Y. S. Ramesh’s Remarkable Career
Prof. Ramesh has served at Jaipur since July 31, 1987, dedicating almost 38 years to Sanskrit education. Throughout his career he has modernized teaching pedagogy and introduced new training dimensions aligned with NEP 2020. He is an accomplished linguist with expertise in Sanskrit, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and English.

Under his leadership, Prof. Ramesh twice chaired the state-level Sanskrit textbook development committees, overseeing syllabus creation from Class 1 (Bal Vatika) through Class 8, strictly following NEP 2020 guidelines.
