RRR wins Best Original Song at the Golden Globes 2023

The 80th Golden Globe Awards are a big day for SS Rajamouli‘s RRR, which stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan.
The 80th Golden Globes kicked off Hollywood’s award season in Los Angeles, with a ceremony hosted by comedian Jerrod Carmichael. SS Rajamouli’s RRR won Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu. It was also up for Best Non-English Language Film, which Argentina won in 1985. RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan as real-life freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju, is the first Indian film to be nominated for a Golden Globe, Hollywood’s highest honor.
The Golden Globes were attended by directors Rajamouli, Jr. NTR, and Ram Charan, as well as their wives, Lakshmi Pranathi and Upasana Kamineni. Other notable winners besides RRR included The Banshees of Inisherin, The Fabelmans, and Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. In the television categories, Abbott Elementary and The White Lotus were the big winners.
