BENGALURU: Opposition On Tuesday, the Janata Dal (Secular) claimed that someone working in the office of Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi was corrupt, and it sought a high-level investigation into the matter. As “wild claims and heights of misleading the public,” Joshi has dismissed it.
JDS MLC SL Bhoje Gowda claimed during a news conference in Bengaluru that a member of the minister’s office had recommended a person for membership in the National Medical Council and appointment to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) while engaging in corruption. During the press conference, former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy was also present.
A high-level investigation is required to determine the relationship between money transfers, the recommendation letter, and who received the money, according to Gowda’s allegations that Rs 2.5 crore was twice sent to a specific bank account. The journalists received copies of a letter with the name obscured and a bank statement. Gowda asserted they will shortly release a number of documents relating to alleged irregularities.

Pralhad Joshi responded to the charges on Twitter –
“Wild and unfounded accusations of this nature will be taken seriously.” “I’ll think about bringing a slander lawsuit for destroying my name,” he said. “First off, this letter is addressed to a doctor, and I most definitely do not qualify as a doctor. There are. He tagged the letter that was released by the JDS leader and said, “If you are so confident, why have you obscured the name and content of this letter?”
Pralhad Joshi also included the original letter that Dr. Harsh Vardhan, the then-minister of union health, wrote to Dr. BD Pandey, a former municipal councilor in New Delhi, confirming receipt of the doctor’s curriculum vitae and requesting his appointment as a member of the National Medical Commission. However, Joshi or other members of his office staff are not mentioned in the original letter.
Pralhad Joshi is being targeted by JDS leaders, according to senior BJP politician and MLC Chaluvadi Narayanswamy, because he criticized the party’s Pancharatna Yatra. This demonstrates the JDS leaders’ immaturity, he remarked.
