Salim Durani, a former cricketer for India, passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 88, according to his family. Durrani, the Indian team’s all-rounder, played 29 Tests for his country, recording 1202 runs and 75 wickets. Durrani has 8545 runs and 484 wickets in 170 matches of first class cricket.
On December 11, 1934, Salim Durrani was born in Kabul, the Afghan capital. The Durrani family eventually relocated to Karachi. At the time of the partition of India and Pakistan, Durrani’s family had relocated to India.
