Congress politician Pawan Khera stepped off the plane, causing mayhem on the runway in Delhi

Congressman politician Pawan Khera allegedly received a request to disembark an IndiGo 6E204 flight with a destination of Raipur. Together with him, several Congress officials, including Supriya Shrinate, Randeep Singh Surjewala, and KC Venugopal, knelt down and sang anti-BJP chants near the airport runway

According to Delhi Police, the Assam Police requested that Pawan Khera not be permitted to fly, according to ANI.

A major drama unfolded on Thursday at Delhi Airport in front of an IndiGo plane that a Congress delegation was about to board to reach Raipur. As Congress leader Pawan Khera was reportedly deboarded from the plane, the entire delegation started ‘BJP hai hai’ slogans. In the video emerging from the airport, Congress leaders Supriya Shrinate, Randeep Singh Surjewala, KC Venugopal can also be seen in the delegation. Recently, Pawan Khera was criticised for referring to Narendra Damodardas Modi as Narendra Gautamdas Modi, in a press conference attacking the government on the Gautam Adani issue.

According to a report by ANI, the Assam Police requested that Pawan Khera’s flight be halted, according to Delhi Police.

“We are all travelling to Raipur on the @IndiGo6E aircraft 6E204 when all of a sudden my colleague @Pawankhera is asked to disembark. What kind of arrogance is this? Exists the rule of law? Whose directive is this being carried out under and on what grounds? Tweeted by Surpita Shrinate.

“This is a dictatorial attitude. The dictator got ED raids done before the session and now he has come down to this kind of act,” the Congress tweeted. The leaders were reaching Raipur to attend the 85th plenary session of the Congress. On Monday, the ED raided the premises linked to at least eight Congress leaders and office bearers in Chhattisgarh in an alleged money laundering case.

“We all were flying to Raipur. When we were all set to start, Pawan Khera ji was asked to deboard the plane. He was told that there was a mix-up with his luggage. But he did not have any luggage with him. After he got down, he was told that he was deplaned and will be served a notice by the CISF,” Supriya Shrinate said.

“We were all travelling via air to Raipur. Pawan Khera ji was asked to leave the aircraft just as we were about to begin. He was informed that his bags had been mixed up. But, he was not carrying any bags. He was informed upon landing that the CISF would be serving him with a notice when he deplaned “said Supriya Shrinate.

“We shall stay here unless the plane goes with all of us, including Pawan Khera Ji. We won’t put up with this tyranny “said Shrinate. The Congressmen are currently chanting anti-government chants while squatting on the runway.

“I have no idea what transpired. I was informed that my baggage was having a problem. I said that I was only carrying a purse and had no luggage. I was informed that I couldn’t fly since the DCP was approaching as I was getting down. I am currently waiting for the DCP for the final 20 minutes “said Pawan Khera.

IndiGo stated in a statement, “Police deplaned a passenger from an aircraft with a destination of Raipur at the Delhi airport. Several passengers independently made the decision to disembark as well. We are acting in accordance with the authorities’ recommendations. As of right moment, the flight is delayed.”
