India Records 2,151 Cases Of Covid In The Past 24 Hours, Most In Five Months

Cases involving India Covid: The weekly positivity rate was 1.53 percent, and the daily positivity rate was 1.51 percent.

New Delhi: According to data updated today by the Union Health Ministry, India recorded 2,151 new coronavirus cases, the highest number in five months, and the number of active cases rose to 11,903.

The Health Ministry reported that seven deaths brought the total to 5,30,848. Maharashtra reported three deaths, Karnataka one, and Kerala three, all of which were confirmed.

Both the daily and weekly positivity rates have been calculated to be 1.51 and 1.53 percent, respectively.

With the addition of the new cases, the nation’s total number of Covid cases since the pandemic’s outbreak now stands at 4.47 crore. (4,47,09,676). Within the total number of infections, there are 0.3% active cases. According to data from the Health Ministry, the national recovery rate was 98.78% at the time.

With more than 1,200 recent recoveries, the total number of people who have overcome Covid has increased to 4,41,66,925. The fatality rate for Covid cases was 1.19 percent.

Data from the Health Ministry show that 11,336 doses of the COVID vaccine were given over the course of the previous day. 220.65 billion vaccine doses have already been given as part of the nationwide vaccination campaign, including 95.20 billion second doses and 22.86 billion precautionary doses.
