India records 7,178 new Covid cases in 24 hours, with 16 deaths

New Delhi:- According to data updated on Monday by the Union Health Ministry, India has recorded 7,178 new coronavirus infections, while the number of active cases has decreased after 69 days.The data updated at 8 am showed that the death toll had increased to 5,31,345 with 16 deaths, eight of which Kerala reconciled.65,683 cases were still open. The weekly positivity rate was calculated to be 5.41 percent, and the daily positivity rate was 9.16%.

The total for the Covid case was 4.48 crore.

According to the ministry, the national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.67%, and the active cases currently make up 0.15 percent of all infections.The number of people who have recovered from the disease has risen to 4,43, 01,865, with a case fatality rate of 1.18 percent.The website of the ministry reports that the country has already received 220.66 crore doses of the Covid vaccine as part of the ongoing national vaccination campaign.

The number of cases is 20,33,372.According to the Health department, Covid was the main factor in one of the deaths.

370 of the city’s 7,973 Covid beds are occupied, according to the data.
