K Viswanath passes away Veteran director-actor K. Viswanath passed away in Hyderabad at the age of 92.

Due to age-related problems, actor-director K. Viswanath passed away on Thursday in a private hospital in Hyderabad. The director addressed issues including the caste system, handicap, untouchability, gender discrimination, dowry, and socioeconomic hardships in his films during the course of a six-decade career. His well-liked movies include Sarada,

O Seeta Katha, Kalam Marindi, and Chelleli Kapuram. Swati Kiranam, Subha Sankalpam, Swarabhishekam, Siri Siri Muvva, Sankarabharanam, Saptapadi, Sagara Sangamamm, Swathi Muthyam, Sruthilayalu, Swarnakamalam, Sutradharulu, Aapadbhandhuvudu, Sargam, Kaamchor, Shubh Kaamna, Eeshwar, and Dhanwaan In 1986, India’s official entry for the Oscars was his film Swathi Muthyam.

Along with working with other notable performers from the film industry, he has also collaborated with Kamal Haasan, Jayaprada, Rishi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vanisri, and Chiranjeevi.

For Subha Sankalpam, Vajram, Kalisundam Raa, Narasimha Naidu, Seema Simham, Nuvv Leka Nenu Lenu, Santhosham, Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, Tagore, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Rajapattai, Lingaa, and Uttama Villain, Viswanath also put on the greasepaint.

The 48th laureate of the Dadasaheb Phalke award was K Viswanath. Five National Film Awards went to him. In 1992, K. Viswanath received the Padma Shri award.

His wife and four children are Viswanath’s only survivors.

Ram Charan, an actor, tweeted, “A legend has passed away! K. ViswanathGaru, K. You will always live on in our hearts and in works of art. May his lovely soul find eternal peace.”

Jaya Prada mourns the passing of her guru K Viswanath.
In Hindi, Jaya Prada tweeted, “My great experienced director mentor K. I was deeply heartbroken to learn that Vishwanath ji had passed away. You always gave me advice, Sri Sri Muvva, and I had the chance to collaborate with you on a number of movies, from Sanjog to Sargam. My sincere sympathies to his family and may his soul rest in peace. Shanti Om.”

In a video he posted, Ilaiyaraaja said,

“The greatest Indian filmmaker has arrived in God’s house. He was an extremely significant director. Hearing about his dying makes me sad. I want God to have serenity as he sleeps.”
