On Wednesday afternoon, a leopard entered the Ghaziabad courthouse and attacked at least eight people, according to officials. Officials claimed that after 9 p.m., following a four-hour joint police-forest operation, the huge cat was saved.

At least eight persons were hurt in the event, according to Abhishek Srivastav, Assistant Commissioner of Police (KaviNagar). “According to the information we have, eight people have been hurt, but no one has been gravely hurt. While some received hospital care, others felt better after receiving the first assistance, he continued.

Officials claimed that as soon as they learned about the animal, the court complex was abandoned. Police officers and representatives from the forest department eventually helped some people who were trapped inside.
