On a Sunday IndiGo aircraft from Guwahati to Delhi, an inebriated male defecated near the toilet and threw up in the aisle. Bhaskar Dev Konwar, who lists himself as a “senior attorney practising at the Gauhati High Court” in his bio, first brought attention to the incident on Twitter. He also attracted criticism for praising the frightening episode as an illustration of “female strength.”

The crew member can be seen wearing a face mask and using a disinfectant spray to sanitise the aisle that has been coated in vomit and paper towels. Also, the picture depicts other passengers sitting quietly and gazing at her as she performs the uncomfortable task.
