In response to allegations of security shortcomings made by the Congress party that the CRPF has refuted, the CRPF said on Thursday that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi broke the security rules while on his Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Rahul Gandhi has often been found to be in violation of the rules, and this information has been conveyed to him on multiple occasions, according to a statement from the CRPF.
In a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday, the Congress accused him of failing to take timely action to protect Rahul Gandhi and other yatra participants from “security breaches” that occurred during the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” in the nation’s capital.
“Rahul Gandhi has been given complete security preparations. In response to Congress’ letter, the CRPF stated: “It may be noted that during visits of the protectee the appropriate security arrangements are made by the CRPF in collaboration with state police and security agencies.

“All stakeholders participated in the Delhi leg of the Bharat Jodo Padyatra for the 24th of December ASL on December 22. All security regulations have been strictly followed, and the Delhi Police has confirmed that enough security personnel has been deployed,” it was noted.
The Congress MP has broken security regulations 113 times since 2020, according to the central police, who also made that point clear to him.
“113 infractions have been noticed and properly reported since 2020. Additionally, the protectee violated security protocols during the Delhi leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, and the CRPF will be handling this problem independently, it added.
