He defeated fellow countryman Priyanshu Rajawat in the opening round 21-15, 12-21, and 24-22. Lakshya withdrew from the Korea Open after winning the Canada Open. Then he returned from this competition. It took 65 minutes to score.
On Thursday itself, HS Prannoy will play Kidambi Srikanth in the men’s singles.

Chirag and Satwik won their eleventh straight game.
Leo Rawley Kernendo and Daniel Marthin of Indonesia were defeated by Satwik and Chirag in three games. Indian team prevailed 21-16, 11-21, 21-13. In 56 minutes, he had won. Satwik-Chirag has now triumphed eleven times in a row. The Indian team will now compete against Jeppe Bay and Lasse Molhed of Denmark.
Trisha and Gayatri pair up after a defeat
On Thursday, the Japanese team defeated Gayatri Gopichand and Trisha Joly in the women’s doubles match. With scores of 23-21, 21-19, N Matsuyama and C Shida defeated both opponents. India’s Malvika Bansod and Mithun Manjunath were eliminated before them after dropping their respective matches.
