Rajasthan: It is believed that a local movement on the Indian side initially drew fire from the Pakistani side, and that the BSF personnel then responded by firing back.
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers and Pakistani Rangers engaged in gunfire late on Friday night in Rajasthan’s Anupgarh sector of the India-Pakistan International Border, according to officials in New Delhi.
According to them, there have been no recorded casualties on the Indian side.
According to officials, the BSF has scheduled a flag meeting with their cross-border counterparts for this Saturday in the Anupgarh sector in the state’s Sriganganagar district.

It is believed that a local movement on the Indian side initially drew fire from the Pakistani side, to which the BSF troops responded, they claimed.
Rarely do the soldiers engage in gunfire in the IB’s Rajasthan front, which also borders Gujarat, Punjab, and Jammu.
According to a senior border force officer, additional information and suggestions regarding the occurrence are awaited.
