According to media reports, Asian Games Chef de Mission Bhupender Singh Bajwa stated that entries have been received for all sports except cricket. According to Bajwa, the BCCI informed the men’s and women’s teams before the deadline that due to the busy schedule of cricket this year, the men’s and women’s teams will not participate in the Asian Games.
