Jaipur: Four people were detained by the Jaipur police on Tuesday in Karni Vihar with fake Indian currency notes (FICNs) totaling more than Rs 2 lakh. The suspects were named by the Karni Vihar police station as Rakesh Kumar, Dhanna Ram, Satveer Singh, and Ajay Singh.

According to the police, Satveer was previously detained for his alleged participation in the matter of the Rajasthan police constable test paper leak.

They claimed that a total of Rs 2.93 lakh FICNs were found on the suspects during the search.

An officer stated, “Preliminary inquiry has shown that Satveer had obtained these counterfeit cash notes from Ajay.”

The group intended to distribute FICNs in the market, according to the police.
