In the Holkar Stadium in Indore, the third Test of the current Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia is being played. The toss was won by Team India, who decided to bat.

The first session of play has concluded on this, the opening day of the match. First-innings batsmen Team India has 84 runs for seven wickets. Both Ravichandran Ashwin and Akshar Patel are undefeated.Nathan Lyon and Matthew Kuhneman each took three wickets, while Todd Murphy made a breakthrough.

At Indore, Team India’s top order again failed. Meanwhile, teammate Shubman Gill, who was brought in to replace KL Rahul, was able to score 21 runs before being replaced by captain Rohit Sharma, who had been removed after reaching 12 runs. Ravindra Jadeja was removed after scoring four runs, while Cheteshwar Pujara was removed after scoring one run. Even opening his account was impossible for Shreyas Iyer.
Rohit made a mistake in reading the pitch
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma once again made a mistake in assessing the pitch. They chose to bat after winning the toss, and the pitch was made spin-friendly, assisting spinners from the start. Both spinners took the first five wickets for the Indian squad.
Team India came with 2 changes, Gill got a chance in place of Rahul
India’s team has changed two things. In place of KL Rahul, Shubman Gill has been given a chance. Mohammed Shami, a fast bowler, has been replaced by Umesh Yadav on the lineup at the same time.
