My planning is proceeding smoothly: Chopra
My planning is progressing nicely. We recently travelled to South Africa, where our emphasis was on physical strength and conditioning. In order to advance our technical abilities, we are currently in Turkey at the Gloria Sports Arena. So that I can compete in the Diamond League in Doha in top form,” Neeraj Chopra explained in a virtual media interview on April 16.
Asian Games are a frantic event.
I want to get as technically better as I can before I start competing this year because we have a busy competitive schedule this year with the Asian Games in October. Planning your training schedule is something we do with the coach and physio.
I’m doing it specifically so I can improve and still have time to recover because I want to compete in as many events as I can this year without getting hurt.
“I always want to improve, so that’s my main focus this year as well, I want to improve my performance with each passing competition and year,” he added. The star athlete discussed his relationship with coach Klaus Bartonitz, who has been guiding Neeraj Chopra since 2019 and has been by his side in all of his successes over the last four years.
