Day 4 box office results for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan show that Salman Khan’s star power helped the movie surpass Rs 120 crore worldwide.
Salman Khan’s family comedy Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is predicted to finish in the double digits on its crucial debut Monday at the box office.
Even though he continues to provide his audience poor material, Salman Khan is demonstrating that he is still a popular performer at the box office. Although his most recent movie, the family comedy Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, experienced a significant (but anticipated) decline on its opening Monday, it still managed to score double-digit numbers, which is encouraging. Early estimates indicate that the movie, which had a solid weekend, grossed around Rs 10 crore on its fourth day of release.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan brought in Rs 10.5 crore on Monday, bringing its four-day total in India to Rs 74 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. On Friday, the movie only grossed a meagre Rs 13 crore, but on Saturday and Sunday, it made Rs 25 crore and Rs 26 crore, respectively. According to Sacnilk, the movie had a total occupancy of over 15% on Monday and has already made over Rs 100 crore worldwide.
The film has ‘passed’ the crucial Monday test, according to Bollywood Hungama, who also highlighted a decline in multiplex revenues. The film’s day four revenue of Rs 10 crore was reported. The performance on single screens was still excellent. Although Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan isn’t doing as well as Salman’s previous top blockbusters, it is doing far better than anticipated when compared to other post-pandemic releases. It’s important to note that KKBKKJ, which reportedly had up to 16,000 shows per day, is essentially the only significant Hindi release now playing in theatres.
In the three years since the pandemic started, very few Hindi films have succeeded. Only Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan emerged as a genuine box office success this year, however Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, starring Ranbir Kapoor, also fared well (domestically, movie earned Rs 147 crore), despite rumours that its budget was excessive.
KKBKKJ, a Farhad Samji-directed version of the Ajith-starring movie Veeram from 2014, also stars Venkatesh Daggubati in a supporting role and Jagapathi Babu as the bad guy. The movie earned negative reviews from reviewers, but Salman’s ardent supporters don’t seem to have been put off.
