“Delhi’s education model is praised around the world, and this is why children from all over the country want to be a part of it.” “The DMVS of our government is working to connect them to us,” Atishi said.  She stated that the government’s goal is to make quality education more accessible and inclusive, allowing students from all states to participate.DMVS is virtual and associated with DBSE, but it has all the benefits of a physical institution. This year, our goal is to increase its reach. Currently, students are studying here from 13 states and Union Territories, including Delhi. Students at the DMVS will have free online access to IIT-JEE and NEET coaching during the upcoming academic year. Along with short-term and advanced courses created by professionals in the industry, the online school will also provide students with courses that are job-oriented, such as coding, digital media and design, finance, and accounting.

On August 31, 2022, Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, opened the “country’s first virtual school,” where students from all over India will be eligible for admission to classes 9 through 12.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), however, denied the chief minister’s assertion, stating that the country’s first virtual school had already been introduced by the Center in 2021.
