DAV Centenary Public School organized a Rakhi-making competition to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan on 28th August

पुण्य कर्मणा कीर्तिमार्जय जीवनम् तव भवतु सार्थकम् ।।
Students from different classes enthusiastically participated in the competition, showcasing their artistic skills and innovative ideas. The event provided a platform for students to express their creativity and learn about the significance of Raksha Bandhan.
They used decorative threads,stars, mirrors ,pearls, matchsticks and flowers for making beautiful Rakhis.

Eci friendly Rakhis were prepared by the students.On this occasion Raksha Sutra activity was also organized in which teachers tied kalawa on student’s wrist with tilak on their forehead.It’s a kind gesture of DAV to keep the roots of our culture strong.

The atmosphere in the school was filled with excitement and anticipation as students showcased their handmade Rakhis. The event not only brought out the creative side of the participants but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among them.
The principal Mr. A. K. Sharma appreciated the efforts put in by the students and praised their talent and dedication.He motivated the students and told them about the importance of celebrating festivals and preserving traditions.
