India’s next big assignment is the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The T20 World Cup is going to start in Australia from 16 October. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, will leave for Australia on Thursday, October 6. Team Australia is leaving a little early than the scheduled time, so that more warm-up matches can be played there. Earlier India had to play only two warm-up matches against Australia and New Zealand, but now it is reported that India will play 4 matches before their campaign in the T20 World Cup in Australia.

The ‘Men in Blue’ will set up their camp in Perth, where they will play two warm-up matches against Western Australia XI on October 10 and 12 at 4 PM. This will be followed by two pre-scheduled warm-up matches against Australia and New Zealand. The games were pre-scheduled against Australia on 17 October and against New Zealand in Brisbane on 19 October. In such a situation, Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma decided that they needed two more matches to better adjust to the conditions in Australia.

Let us tell you that India’s first match will be with Pakistan on 23 October in Melbourne. After this, the Indian cricket team will face the runner up of Group A in the second match on 27 October in Sydney. Team India’s third match will be against South Africa on 30 October. In their fourth match of the tournament, India will face Bangladesh on November 2, which will be played in Adelaide. In their fifth league match, Team India will take on the winning team of Group B in Melbourne on 6 November.
