India reported 201 new cases of COVID-19 in the previous 24 hours, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare was notified on Saturday.
3,397 instances are now active in India, which is less than 0.01% of all cases. 98.8% of cases are currently being recovered. The number of recoveries increased to 183 the previous day, bringing the total to 4,41,42,791.
The weekly positivity rate was 0.14 percent, compared to a 0.15 percent daily positivity rate.
In the past 24 hours, 1,05,044 doses of COVID-19 were given out.
According to government figures, more than 220.04 crore vaccine doses have already been given as part of the statewide COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

The Union Government is dedicated to stepping up and broadening the COVID-19 vaccination program nationwide. On January 16, 2021, the nationwide COVID-19 immunization campaign began. On June 21, 2021, the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination program went into effect.
The availability of more vaccinations, early notification of vaccine availability to States and UTs for improved planning by them, and streamlining the vaccine supply chain have all increased the vaccination campaign.
The Government of India has been assisting the States and UTs by giving them free COVID vaccinations as part of the nationwide vaccination drive.
The Union Government will purchase and provide (free of charge) to States and UTs 75% of the vaccinations being produced by the country’s vaccine manufacturers as part of the new phase of the COVID-19 vaccination push.

Since Beijing dropped its zero-COVID policy, the World Health Organization has not received any information from China regarding new COVID hospitalizations, leading some health professionals to speculate that Beijing may be concealing information regarding the scope of its outbreak.
