Khyaliram Saharan, an actor and AAP member, was arrested for rape in Jaipur

JAIPUR:- A 28-year-old woman claims that on Saturday, inside a hotel in the city’s Mansarovar neighbourhood, comedian Khyaliram Saharan, who joined the AAP last year, sexually assaulted her.
On Sunday, the Mansarovar police filed a complaint under IPC sections 354 and 376 (using criminal force against a woman with the purpose to violate her modesty).

The woman said that she and her buddy had gone to the hotel to see the comedian in an effort to get a job in the entertainment business. While I stayed in a different room at the same hotel, the lady was lodged there with a friend.
The woman and her friend were summoned to Saharan’s room for dinner, where, according to the FIR, he reportedly made her smoke an imported cigarette.

He guaranteed to secure her employment with a daily salary of Rs 2,500 show. The woman claimed that the comedian attempted to touch her companion improperly while intoxicated.
She reported to the police that the suspect reportedly closed the door from the inside and raped her after her friend left the room to answer a call. Additionally, she said that when she and her friend questioned the suspect following the incident, he allegedly threatened them and left the hotel.

Khyaliram Saharan, in the meantime, refuted the charges and reported them to the Hanumangarh police station. In his complaint to the district police, Saharan said that a mysterious woman had called him a month earlier and requested him to help her find employment because her family was extremely underprivileged. He denied to meet with her because of his busy schedule when she phoned him again and persisted that she wanted to see him.

The woman allegedly called Khyaliram Saharan repeatedly and threatened to kill herself if she didn’t find job immediately. Despite her repeated requests for him to meet with her, he warned her against taking any drastic action. He claimed he arrived in Jaipur on Saturday to join his relatives at a wedding. He agreed to meet the woman after she continued calling, but not by himself.

Then she said she would meet him at the hotel with her sister. He claimed that the woman started threatening and blackmailing him when they subsequently crossed paths at the hotel. But, according to the city police, the case is still being investigated.
“We’ll discuss the issue with the woman and her buddy. The CCTVs at the hotel are being investigated. Consequently, until we have solid evidence, it is too early for us to draw any conclusions “explained a policeman.
