The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is getting ready to send four people to Mars in June 2023 this summer. Even though the American space agency has long wished to send people to the neighbouring planet, the four “Martians” will be a part of NASA’s human exploration mission there. Additionally, NASA has sending satellites, the InSight lander, a rover mission with the Perseverance rover, a small robotic helicopter called Ingenuity, and associated delivery systems, all of which are meant to give the Red Planet its first thorough examination.

The four volunteers are a part of an ongoing 12-month project to prepare humans for a trip to Mars. They will do so in a habitat that mimics the conditions there when humans eventually land on Mars.

NASA has three such missions to Mars planned. The US space agency is planning three of these specialised missions to find out more about the requirements of habitats on Earth. the cosmological neighbour. This year will see the start of the first analogue mission, with missions two and three starting in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
