It is likely the striking physicians and the state government will conduct talks on Saturday to resolve the issue in the interest of patients who are suffering the brunt in the disagreement.

Private hospital doctors continued to strike throughout the state, inconveniencing patients, while resident doctors in government hospitals affiliated with medical institutions refused to work in support of the striking private hospital doctors.

Notwithstanding a request from Dr. Rajeev Bagarhatta, the principal and controller of SMS Medical College, resident physicians and other groups continued to give the campaign their full support. On Friday at 11 a.m., female doctors staged a protest.

Following the rally, in which many doctors participated, a gathering of doctors from private hospitals was also convened at the JMA auditorium. In a meeting with the protesters, the Rajasthan Pradesh Chemist Association’s officers pledged their support for the movement. In addition to this, other professional and social organisations published letters of support. At six in the morning, Amar Jawan Jyoti planned a candle march in which many people took part.

According to Dr. Vijay Kapoor, secretary of the Private Hospital and Nursing Home Society (PHNHS), this regulation will harm the general population more than it will hurt physicians and hospitals. The largest causes of death, such as heart attack and septicemia, are not covered in the bill’s definition of emergency, which only includes snake bite, animal attack, and road accident.
