Story – Sita Ramam is a heartfelt love story with key roles for Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna. Sita Ramam, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is a Telugu-language period love drama that takes place in the 1960s during the war, when the eponymous characters Ram and Sita first communicate through letters. An orphan soldier named Lieutenant Ram (Dulquer) is stationed in Kashmir and receives letters from a variety of people, including an unidentified girl named Sita Mahalakshmi (Mrunal – who is making her debut in the Telugu film industry with this romantic story). They start writing one other a few letters before they finally meet and fall in love.

Sita Ramam release date

On August 5, 2022, Sita Ramam was released in Telugu along with dubbed Tamil and Malayalam versions. The movie’s Hindi dub was made available on September 2, 2022.

Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates all forbade the showing of the movie.

A News18 story claims that the film offended religious sensitivities, which is why it was banned.

Later, the United Arab Emirates’ prohibition was lifted, and the movie was screened there on August 11, 2022. On August 3, 2022, a pre-release event was held in Hyderabad, and Prabhas was a guest. At engagements in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Vizag, Chennai, and Kochi, the team marketed the movie.

On November 18, Prime Video will launch the Hindi OTT version of the film Sita Ramam. Hanu Raghavapudi is the director and writer of this Hindi-dubbed 2022 Indian Telugu romantic drama.
