Ramkaran Meena, a forest warden, reported that the youngster was playing outside his home on Friday evening in Basna village, Jamwaramgarh tehsil, when the animal snatched him.

A forest officer said on Saturday that a one-and-a-half-year-old boy was murdered by a leopard in the Jamwaramgarh region of the Jaipur district.

Ramkaran Meena, a forest warden, reported that the youngster was playing outside his home on Friday evening in Basna village, Jamwaramgarh tehsil, when the animal snatched him.

As the leopard was carrying the youngster away, the boy’s family members rushed the leopard, which caused the leopard to release the boy and go into the forest, according to Mr. Meena.
