Soon, the Vande Bharat Express will travel from New Delhi to Ajmer via Jaipur. A North Western Railway circular obtained by TOI states that the new Vande Bharat Express will reportedly go from Delhi to Ajmer in Rajasthan, stopping at Jaipur along the way. Formerly, it had been anticipated that Indian Railways will operate Rajasthan’s inaugural Vande Bharat train, with Jaipur as its final stop.

After the train has undergone testing, NWR hopes to start operating the Vande Bharat Express during the first week of April. It was suggested to run this service between Jaipur and New Delhi in accordance with an earlier suggestion after a joint discussion between NWR and NR. The plan to run the Vande Bharat train between Ajmer and New Delhi through Jaipur has since been amended, according to the NWR circular.
Timetable and projected route for the Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer Vande Bharat Train :
The New Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express will ideally run six times every week, according to Indian Railways. The other days of the week, excluding Wednesday, the Vande Bharat Express is most likely to run on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Ajmer-New Delhi Vande Bharat will leave Ajmer at 6:10 AM and arrive in New Delhi at 12:15 PM, travelling a total of 6 hours and 5 minutes. It will make stops along the way at the train stations at Jaipur, Alwar, and Gurugram.

The New Delhi-Ajmer Vande Bharat Train will leave New Delhi at 6:10 PM on the same day and arrive in Ajmer at 12:15 AM the following day, travelling a distance of 6 hours and 5 minutes. After travelling from New Delhi to Jaipur in 4 hours and 10 minutes, the train will arrive in the city around 10:20 PM.
The New Delhi-Ajmer-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express would travel at an average speed of 72.74 kph in both directions.
The height of the electrical wiring has been taken into consideration when modifying the Vande Bharat Express for the Rajasthan route via Jaipur. In order to accommodate the route’s double stack container traffic, ICF, Chennai erected high rise pantographs on the new Vande Bharat Express for NWR.
Today, March 23, 2023, the new Vande Bharat Express is anticipated to arrive at NWR.
