California Sikh family’s murder: Sherrif says ‘special place in hell’ for suspect; believes at least one more person involved in killings

There has been a big disclosure in the murder case of four members of a Sikh family in America. Giving information, the Merced County Sheriff said that the accused used to work for the family only, but for the past one year he was having a dispute with the family. He said, search is on for the accomplice of the accused in this case.

Sheriff Vern Warneke said the 48-year-old accused Jesus Manuel Salgado was hospitalized. Salgado has already been convicted of a robbery and was sentenced to 11 years in prison. He was released in 2015. “Efforts are on to find out how the accused was related to the Sikh family and what was the dispute between them,” the sheriff said.

Four members of a Sikh family were kidnapped and murdered in the US, including a couple, their eight-month-old baby girl and the child’s uncle. All four were members of a Sikh NRI family of Hoshiarpur origin in Punjab. It is suspected that the kidnapper killed all four. Merced Sheriff Vern Warneke said the bodies of all four were found Wednesday evening in a garden near Indiana Road and Hutchinson Road. The laborer had given to the police to find the dead body in the garden. The bodies of all the four were found lying nearby at the spot.

a suspect was taken into custody
Salgado was arrested yesterday by US police in connection with the kidnapping. He himself was also found in critical condition. It is understood that he attempted suicide. Apart from this, the car of the kidnapped was found in a burnt condition late on Monday night. Detectives told US police on Tuesday morning that a bank ATM card from one of the hijacked men had been used at an ATM in Atwater, Merced County.
