DAV Centenary Public School, Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur celebrated Janmashtami festival with zeal, enthusiasm and great fervor. The celebration commenced with a beautiful prayer ceremony, invoking the blessings of Lord Krishna. Students and staff members gathered together to offer their prayers and seek the divine grace of Lord Krishna.Different jhakies were presented comprising various events like Nand bhawan, Janam utsav, Karawas, Gokul gaman, Makhan chori,Bechara charayi, Maha raas,and Krishna gwalas dance.This set the tone for the rest of the event, creating a spiritual and festive atmosphere.

The Dahi Handi event brought excitement and energy to the celebration when it was broken.Handi ritual associated with Janmashtami. The event showcased teamwork, coordination, and physical fitness among the students. The cheers and encouragement from the audience added to the excitement and made the event even more enjoyable.

The school premises were adorned with vibrant decorations, including rangoli, flower garlands, and pictures depicting the life of Lord Krishna. The decorations created a festive ambiance and allowed students to immerse themselves in the spirit of Janmashtami.

The principal Mr.A.K.Sharma appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to imbibe the qualities of lord Krishna and follow the path of truth, devotion, simplicity and an ideal friend.
