England defeated Australia 3-1 in the semifinals to advance to the Women’s FIFA World Cup final, where they will face Spain on Sunday

Euro Cup winners England has advanced to the FIFA Women’s World Cup final. By a score of 3-1, the team defeated Australia in the semifinals
For the first time ever, the England team has advanced to the Women’s World Cup final. The group’s last opponent will be Spain. The game will start at 3:30 pm on Sunday at Sydney’s Stadium Australia.
English dominance lasted for 62 minutes.
In Sydney, the second semi-final game was contested between the hosts, Australia, and England. England benefitted from playing an attacking style of football from the start, as the squad scored in the 36th minute. Team’s goal was scored by Ella Toon. Following this score, England’s lead remained constant.
England still had a 1-0 lead after the first half ended. After the break, Australia launched an assault. Sam Kerr of Australia scored in the 63rd minute to tie the game at one.
England took a commanding lead by scoring twice in the space of 15 minutes.
Following a 1-1 deadlock, England started to control the game. Lauren Hamp, one of the team’s players, scored a goal in the 71st minute to make the final score 2-1 in England’s favor. In the 86th minute, England’s Alicia Russo added another goal, giving the side a 3-1 advantage.

There were no more goals scored in the game after the score reached 3-1. England won the game and advanced to the final for the first time even after the final whistle blew at 3-1.
Sweden will play Australia in the third-place game.
Sweden and Australia will compete for third place on August 19 at Milton’s Suncorp Stadium. On Saturday at 1:30 pm (Indian time), the game will begin. The final between Spain and England will follow the third-place game on Sunday.
Sweden was defeated by Spain 2-1 in the first semifinal. The women’s FIFA World Cup championship has yet to be won by either the Spain or England sides. In this case, the team that prevails in Sunday’s championship game will win the Women’s World Championship for the first time.
