MGPS: Grandparents Day Celebration

Credent TV | Our grandparents comfort us, nourish us, and nurture us with their love, care, and compassion. Their presence is irreplaceable in our lives. To assert their importance in our lives, MGPS celebrated Grandparents Day on 15.07.22 with grandeur. The Chief Guest of the event was Sohan Ram Choudhary (RAS, Deputy Commissioner Nagar Nigam Greater) and the Guest of Honour was Wg. Cdr. Govind Ram Sharda (Eminent Social Worker).

The event beheld the charming presence of President Pradeep Baheti, President, Maheshwari Samaj, Jaipur & Hon. Secretary Murari Lal Birla  which added vibrance to this momentous day. The solemn occasion started off with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries, followed by the welcome note by School Principal Dr. Sunita Vashistha. Nostalgia wafted in the air with oodles of happiness in hearts with the grandparents in great number. The tiny tots reciprocated their love with their mesmerising performance and helped grandparents revisit their golden and splendid times. The enthusiastic participation of grandparents spoke volumes of their never-ending vigor and vitality.

The guests, in their speech, conveyed to the students to respect their grandparents as they make the family a heavenly place. We can honour their presence by radiating the virtues they have inculcated in us.  The principal in her address emphasized the need to revive the old traditions, saying we should not forget our salutary way of life .Our grandparents are our pillars of strength, and we will always be indebted to them for the love and care they have showered on us. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Vice Principal.
