‘Parinda Activity’ In Tree House High School

Tree House High School has always been activity oriented in the installation of bird’s feeders or Parinda. On 25th April, birds feeders were installed by pre-primary toddlers. The students participated with great enthusiasm and recited poems on birds. They hung Parindas in the school premises under the guidance of their teachers and filled them with grains and water giving a message to save birds.

Kids were made aware about the meaning of Parinda and why do we need to install it. Due to scorching summers, birds and animals need water to survive. The students looked thrilled while filling the Parindas for the birds to drink water and respite their thirst in this heat.  Principal, Mrs. Sarita Sharma, told children that these Parinda’s help birds to have water and relax on every branch of the tree. Kids were excited to install Parinda’s. They promised their teachers to do same at their homes also.

Parinda activity proved to be a learning experience for kids as to how we can save birds in this scorching heat of summers.
