Shah Rukh Khan, the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders and a Bollywood icon, gave a moving speech in the team’s locker room after his team won the 2024 Indian Premier League. In the final, KKR outperformed Sunrisers Hyderabad with a spectacular display to win their third IPL crown. SRK went back on the field to support his team during the summit match with his family despite having recently been admitted to the hospital due to a heat stroke. SRK was seen thanking the KKR players and staff in a video that the team shared on social media, and he also shared his good wishes for the IPL auction.
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Gautam Gambhir with one simple request. I haven’t given him any special thanks. When we first started, we talked about two things that would help us get him to dance. That line has previously been passed by Sunil (Narine). I watched him move. Therefore, we must force Gautam Gambhir (GG) to dance tonight,” Shah Rukh Khan stated in the widely shared video.
“To all of you, I am grateful. You two are quite cute. May God reward you. Just continue to be well. And I hope the best for you, no matter where we end up going from here. And, as far as I’m aware, I speak for Jay, Juhi, Jahnavi, Suhana, Pooja, and all of us who adore you so much that you bring us to tears. Furthermore, we wish this team existed forever. And you continued to play this way while listening to my speeches.”
