4 terrorists killed in jammu and kashmir

Four terrorists were killed in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Budigam area of ​​Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. The identity of the slain terrorists is yet to be ascertained. Three jawans were also martyred when their vehicle overturned near the encounter site. Security forces are still carrying out the search operation.

Officials said- Security forces had surrounded the area after getting information about the hiding of the terrorists. On this the terrorists started firing. The security forces also responded to this. At the same time, 44 RR personnel were going from Chowgam camp in a van towards the encounter site at Budigam. Then the driver lost control of the vehicle, in which 8 jawans were injured. Two died on the way to the hospital, while one died during treatment. The remaining 5 jawans are being treated at the District Hospital in Shopian.

Late on Tuesday night, the security forces had killed two terrorists of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba in an encounter in Rainawari area of ​​​​Srinagar. The police had found many objectionable items including ammunition, weapons from the slain terrorists. Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar told that both the killed in the Srinagar encounter were local terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba / TRF. Both the terrorists were residents of the valley.

A man named Satish Kumar Singh was shot in the head and leg by terrorists in Kakran area of ​​Kulgam district of South Kashmir on Wednesday evening. The man died during treatment in the hospital. Satish was a driver by profession.
