Rajasthan scored 203 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs while batting first at Hyderabad Stadium after losing the toss. The Hyderabad team could only muster 131 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs while attempting to chase down the 204-run target. Abdul Samad reduced the margin of victory by scoring 23 runs in the final over. Off Navdeep Saini’s ball, he hit two fours and two sixes.

Rajasthan won for two key reasons…

Rahul Tripathi and Abhishek Sharma were brought back to the pavilion at zero. The Hyderabadi batsmen were under pressure as a result.
