In this video, Shyam Rangeela said that what happened in Surat and Indore should not happen in Varanasi, hence I decided to contest elections from Varanasi. It is noteworthy that nominations of many other candidates including Congress for Surat Lok Sabha seat were cancelled. Meanwhile, Congress candidates from Indore Lok Sabha seat withdrew their names after nomination.
In this way, the path has been cleared for the BJP candidate to win both the seats. Shyam Rangeela says that this should not happen in Varanasi, that is why he has decided to contest the elections as an independent candidate from Varanasi.
