Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder deliveries start in India
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (Toyota Kirloskar Motor) has started the deliveries of its first mid-size SUV Urban Cruiser HyRyder in India from this week. Launched last month, the Urban Cruiser Highrider SUV is available with mild hybrid and strong hybrid powertrains. This latest car from Toyota comes at a starting price of Rs 10.48 lakhs, ex-showroom. The base price of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is slightly higher than that of the respective base variant. Both these cars are technically identical. Along with the Grand Vitara, the HyRyder aims to challenge the dominance of its Korean rivals Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the mid-size SUV segment.
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Maruti Grand Vitara have been jointly developed as part of a strategic collaboration between Toyota and Suzuki. Both the cars are being manufactured at Toyota Motor’s Bidadi plant in Karnataka.(Credenttv.com)
