New Hyundai Verna to debut in 2023

The Hyundai Verna is soon to go on sale, but additional information is already becoming available. Because the specs and images of Verna’s exterior have been leaked, we already know how the sedan looks from the outside and what features it has. Further details regarding the interior of the 2017 Verna have recently become public, which reveals a lot about the new features that the sedan will provide.

Hyundai totally redesigned the interior of the 2017 Verna, mirroring the exterior. Similar to the Mahindra XUV700, the cabin now has a dual-screen for the driver’s cockpit. There are two 10.25-inch full-HD screens in the spacious cockpit. A fully digital instrument console with layouts and typefaces reminiscent of the Kia Carens may be seen on the screen behind the steering wheel. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is located to its left.

Moreover, the new Hyundai Verna features lower center console-mounted switchable infotainment and climate control interfaces, a segment first. Depending on the situation, this touch-sensitive panel can serve as a control panel for both the audio system and the climate control systems. The heating option for the front seats, in addition to the ventilation function already present in the outgoing model, is another segment-first feature offered by the Hyundai Verna.

New Hyundai Verna Many other features

The all-new Hyundai Verna’s cabin will also come equipped with a single-zone automatic climate control system, a single-pane sunroof, rear AC vents, an eight-speaker BOSE music system, cruise control, and a wireless charger, among other notable features. A few days ago, external photos of the 2017 Verna started to surface online, confirming that the sedan will sport horizontal LED positioning lamps spaced evenly across the width of the bonnet. Also, the new Verna has projector fog lamps up front, full-LED headlamps, and LED tail lamps with parametric connections in the back.

The 2017 Hyundai Verna will, like all of its main rivals, including the Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, be available exclusively as gasoline-powered vehicles. The 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, normally aspirated petrol engine with 115 Hp from the current model is one of the powerplant choices for the new Verna. Both a 6-speed manual and CVT transmission are available for this powerplant. A new 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with 160 Hp will also be available. It will be shared with the Alcazar and will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automated transmission.
