Cases increasing once again after the third wave in January

Since the third wave came in early January, there was a decline in the cases for the last 11 weeks, but during 11 to 17 April, the cases of corona in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh have increased by about 35%. .

During April 11 to 17, about 6,610 cases were registered in the country. In its last week, 4,900 cases were found in the country. Talking about the deaths due to corona, last week only 27 people died due to corona infection. Which is the lowest number of deaths in any week after the week of March 23 to 29, 2020. Last week 54 deaths were recorded.

Corona cases are increasing in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh

Last week, 2,307 cases were found in Delhi, while 943 cases were found in its last week. That is, there has been a 145% increase in cases in Delhi in a week. This accounts for 25% of the corona cases in the country. In view of the situation, the administration took a few days off in the schools of Delhi.

If we talk about Haryana, then in a week the corona cases increased from 514 to 1,119. This is an 118% increase. Whereas in Uttar Pradesh, 224 cases were reported in the week of April 3 to April 9, whereas in the last week this number increased to 540, which is 141% more than its previous week. In both the states, most of the new cases were found in NCR cities adjoining Delhi such as Noida, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad.
