New Partnership between Mallinckrodt Gymnasium and St. Edmund’s School jaipur

The landscape of any collaboration is complex, encompassing a wide range of different phases. Moreover, Schools collaborate for a multitude of reasons over different timelines and with varying degrees of success.

Keeping this in mind a new partnership was developed between Mallinckrodt.Gymnasium, one of the oldest and prestigious institutions of Germany and St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur to support the knowledge partnership initiative. A warm welcome was extended to the Principal Dr. Pooja Singh and Deputy Director Mr. Kapil Singh by the Principal Mr. ChristophWeishaupt.

In the school, they visited the classroom to get acquainted with the teaching pattern there. The students were keen to learn Hindi language. They wanted to know more about Indian culture, the weather and even the most elegant outfit worn by the ladies “A sari”. They were absolutely delighted to see Dr. Pooja Singh wearing it.

“Music is the universal language of mankind.” The School also organised an amazing musical concert in which 50-70 students participated where they played different musical instruments from Saxophone to drums, from flutes to trumpets. The concert continued for 2 hours and those 2 hours proved to be the most unforgettable moments of their visit. The talent which the students showcased was magnificent. Their talent accentuated to more heights when they coordinated their musical expertise to the short videos of popular movies like James Bond and Lord of the Rings which was appreciated by one and all.

During their stay they had the opportunity to visit many other places like DASA (a work museum), U-Tower and the newly built football museum. They also got the opportunity to watch a football match live.

Principal Dr. Pooja Singh said that, a history of Partnership is commonly cited facilitator to the success of collaboration and for this we have to build a positive relationship which will serve as a strong foundation for the future.

Deputy Director Mr. Kapil Singh gave his remarkable views by saying that, there are number of commonalities within the literature with regards to the condition that foster effective collaboration with key titles and they are commonly cited between both theinstitutions.

 

In all this we are sure that this new partnership will have the way for a closer and stronger relationship.
