Annual Prize Distribution at St. Xavier’s

Saturday May 2, 2015; School days are the best days of one’s life and memories of recognition make them all the more unforgettable. The Annual Prize distribution Ceremony was held with its signature grandeur and spectacle at St. Xavier’s school on Saturday evening. Amidst the beautifully lit campus was set an impressive stage to receive and honour children from class I-XII for their yearlong hard work and perseverance.  Reverend Fr.  Edward Oliveira, Principal St. Anslem’s School, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his benign message, Fr. Oliveira appreciated the efforts put in by both the children and the  institution towards achieving excellence in holistic sphere and emphasized on the need to build a strongly knit, value based society in the present times which gives equal recognition to all.

Fr. Sangeeth Raj SJ, the Vice-principal gave the welcome address.  “These young achievers kindle a great hope in our hearts, with them taking over the realms of the society, we surely envisage a very bright future for our nation. The principles of righteousness and equality promulgated by our patron saints shall guide them towards building a great nation.” Proclaimed Fr. John Ravi SJ, the Principal as he presented the annual report of school’s accomplishments for the year ended and shared the institution’s vision with the audience.  Children sparked the evening with their dazzling dance performances and soulful singing. Preksha Soni of class XII rendered the vote of thanks and the vivacious evening came to an apt conclusion with the singing of the school cheer song.
